Chaparro Amargo

Chaparro Amargo is a bitter medicinal shrub native to the Sonoran desert and widely used in northern Mexican herbal medicine. It is well regarded for its antiparasitic, digestive, and liver-supporting properties. It has been traditionally used to address intestinal parasites, dysentery, liver congestion, and general digestive weakness. Its strongly bitter taste signals its powerful digestive action.

How to prepare: Simmer 1 tablespoon in 4 cups of water for 15-20 minutes. Strain and drink 1 cup before meals, once or twice daily.
