Mangle Rojo

Mangle Rojo, or Red Mangrove, is a medicinal plant traditionally used in coastal Mexican and Caribbean communities. It is valued for its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, and has been used to address skin conditions, support wound healing, and ease inflammation of the mucous membranes. It is also used for digestive and gum health.

How to prepare: Simmer 1-2 tablespoons of bark in 4 cups of water for 20-25 minutes. Strain and drink 1-2 cups per day.
